This Privacy Policy describes how Crosshair Labs ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Sheldon AI app ("the App"). By using the App you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you register and use the App:

Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored securely via Supabase authentication)
Trading journal data: trades, notes, and P&L records you enter manually
Chat messages: messages you send to Sheldon AI for the purpose of generating responses
Usage data: number of chart analyses used per day (to enforce fair-use limits)
Device information: general device type and operating system, used to optimise app display

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and personalise the trading signals, AI chat, and journal features
To send you password reset emails when requested
To enforce daily usage limits and subscription access
To improve the accuracy of Sheldon AI's analysis over time
To contact you about important account or service updates

3. AI & Third-Party Processing

Sheldon AI is powered by Claude (Anthropic). When you send a message or upload a screenshot for analysis, that content is transmitted to Anthropic's API to generate a response. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing: anthropic.com/privacy

Market price data is retrieved from Binance and CoinGecko public APIs. No personal data is shared with these services.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your account data, journal, and signals are stored in Supabase — a secure, encrypted cloud database hosted on AWS infrastructure. All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

7. Financial Disclaimer

Sheldon AI provides trading signals and analysis for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing in the App constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any asset. Trading cryptocurrency carries significant financial risk. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Withdraw consent at any time
